KM - "What to Say About the Magazines"

i was just looking over some of the scans of the km; now, i haven't seen a km for almost ten years, so maybe this isn't that new: but when did they start providing publishers with a presentation for the wt and awake magazines?

i remember sweating over my presentation every time new mags were featured.

when did this start?.

it's not a presentation, it's a SALES PITCH.....and like any another shotty product it can be sold in the main stream... so the wt uses HIGH PRESURE TACTICS to sell their JUNK....

they are coming to get me

a bit of background first.

i was raised a jw and baptized at 15 although to say i was dedicated was stupid, anyway began to fade with my wife after we were married and finally broke away about 10 years ago although we were not da,d or df,d.

three years ago i decided to do what i had always wanted to and joined the airforce which i am immensly proud of and enjoy greatly ,somrthing i could never say about being a jw.

funny ; how the wt always talk about civil and human rights.... but you must stand at their inquistion at any time. tell them to practice what they teach ,,, and don't screw with my human rights... take a walk or i,ll see you in court... a threat can go a long way... the more i read about this wt interagations and kangroo courts. it must be a violation of civil or/and human rights.... some good lawyer should look into this... if true the wt is finished...john

i am desperately searching fo rthe bible qoute which tells you that you shall recognize his people by the love amongst themselves.. i have not found any love amongst any witnesses in our hall, never ever...and we have attended this hall for nearly 2 years.

i am still a study, my hubby grew up in the truth.

elders are coming over tomorrow night to discuss our lack of meeting attendance.

hi jackie; your man is on his way out, that's a prophecy.......i see the picture better now... so when the elders come over let them talk to him ,ONLY I THINK YOU MAY HAVE TO GO TO THE STORE ETC... but first try to let your man know that they haqve no power over him and he need not to let them play with his MIND... i think it's time for you and him to have a real bible study you 2 alone with a non wt bible... and crisis of conscience would be good to check at this time.... for you keep a big distance from the jw's at all costs it's better for you ........john

jackie;; just call them now , and tell them you are not interested, and don't come over tomorrow or at any other time ... if i want you i know were to find you.... and hang up... if they still come... say the same thing and close the door on their faces... if you got nerve ,, tell them next time they or any jw' comes to your door etc, you will call the police..... don't give them a chance to talk and close the door.....john

hi jackie, i read your post and i understand it... YOU DON'T WWANT TO GO THE THE KINGDUM HALL no MORE... you have seen they are full of it... DONot waist time , they will try to TRICK YOU WITH A FEW OF VERSES... THEY ARE LIKE A SNAKE IN THE GRASS....if i was you i would tell them i don't want ANY MORE BIBLE I MEAN BOOKS STUDIES THAT USE THE NAME OF GOD TO GLORIFY THEM SELVES.... THEY ARE EXTREMILY LOW LIFE SALESMAN AND THEY know EVERY CON TO SUCK YOU IN .... THEY HAVE A 125 YEARS OF EXPERENCE IN SELLING M ICE TO AN ESIKAMO... don't fAll for the lets talk crap etc... say in a firm way i have an niv bible and will read it myself with the help of the holy sprit... please don't come here no more, or have any jw call me... again be FIRM i would call them on the phone and tell them NOT UNDER ANY PRETENTICES SHOULD THEY COME AND TRY TO TURN ME FROM JESUS AND LOVE. i went to a racially mixed congregation in the northern suburbs of illinois.

i found that things done in the congregation if done on a job would cause a person to get fired.

(in fact i know a jw who was fired for sexual harrassment.

FINALLY stood up to my father re: religion!

as you all may remember, i left the organization 4 years ago - never df'd, never dissassociated, just left.

my parents initially tried everything they could to get me to come back but to no avail.

they've never really shunned me because we still talk on the phone, but seeing that we live on the opposite coasts, i've only seen them once in 4 years.

back2front: you did a great job... they want to talk about pre mariage sex... etc.. but you got to the point the wt is full of crap. i like the check out the car's history FIRST.... SEE jw's want to comtrol the conversation all the time... but when you hit them with something they have not been PROGRAMMED TO ANSWER... they stand in silence... when they do try a come back it's on a different SUBJECT.... i went to my dad's house today and gave him a sermon on the daniel book chapter 17, he laughed a t me for 20 minutes... then i pulled a few choice wt's out of his library he stopped laughing fast... and through me out of the house.... i laughed all the way out. they are truely under some form of mind control.... but keep the door open and control the converation.... freedom in christ ....john
